On May 6, SQI passed TÜV Austria authorized laboratories accreditation for biodegradation testing and got the certificate, which means that SQI become the authorized laboratory of TÜV Austria and could offer testing service on OK compost INDUSTRIAL and Seedling certification. At present, SQI is the first institute to be authorized by TÜV Austria for biodegradation testing in Asia Pacific region.

In the end of March, SQI participated in accreditation remote video online review organized by TÜV Austria. Review committee experts fully explained the relevant requirements and systematically reviewed the acceptance of degradable products testing, sample circulation, testing and analysis, and report issuance of SQI.Through the two-day review, the experts affirmed the management ability and technical level of SQI and believed that the quality management system of SQI has reached relevant requirements of laboratory accreditation criteria.

In the future, SQI will take advantages of professional technology, providing authoritative international mutual recognition test report for domestic biodegradable material manufacturers and promoting the formation of a new pattern of domestic and international double cycle development of biodegradable industry.
